I don't have 32 days to Christmas ....

.... I only have 20 days as I need to give out my Christmas presents before the end of school year .... so I have been very, very busy knitting away on these ....

.... dishcloths! So far, I am now at #9 & there are still 6 more to go - I should be able to make it by Dec 13 or earlier. Anyway, I do really enjoy knitting these dishcloths & if you notice, I am knitting them in one standard pattern - the best pattern in the world which I found here ! It's really easy & knits up so fast & it looks so nice. I may still carry on knitting these dishcloths after Christmas as I like them so much - in fact, I have been using one for the past few days & it's great - wipe so clean, dry so fast & adds some color to the kitchen sink!

I am still knitting on my socks & just cast off one Snapdragon sock in the same yarn & color as the one knitted by Wendy. It's a really nice & easy pattern & will post picture later!

Well done on the disgcloths and thanks for the link to the pattern. It is really good if you don't know how much yarn you have!! I use my 'dishcloths' as faceflannels. They are very good: scrubby but gentle.

Ooh goody! I was just talking about dishcloths with a work colleague who is new to the whole online knitting scene - I'll send her your link! These look great.

What a great gift idea! I have not seen your pattern with the pretty stripe going up the middle. I used the typical pattern when I switched from English knitting to Continental knitting. I look forward to seeing your snapdragon sock.

I feel your pain...half of my Christmas was at Thanksgiving (last week). Those are cool clothes and I see how they could become a fav.

Ann, I'm looking forward to seeing the socks! I've got a yummy skein of DiC Smooshy is a red shade. I'm looking forward to knitting it up, but patting it is awfully nice, too :)

What a FUN pattern you are using to knit the dishcloths. I have not seen this one before. I think I have the same orange multi-color yarn and I think I am just going to have to try this pattern!
