Leaves Or Vines ?

So are they leaves or vines ? I don't really mind as they are done. Remember the Embossed Leaves socks that I was knitting & as I did them toe-up, the lace pattern is upside down & I didn't bother to reverse it. Anyway, I enjoyed knitting this pattern - it's quite easy & it looks great to me .....

Pattern : Embossed Leaves from Favorite Socks

Yarn : Colinette Jitterbug - Oyster Blush

Needles : 2.5 mm bamboo dpns

This will be my 4th pair of socks for SSS which is a great KAL as I really enjoy reading all the adventures of the sock knitters & admiring the wonderful work that they are coming up with - it's great.

I have my 5th pair of sock up to the toe but putting that aside as I have not decided on the pattern for the leg as I need to find the right stitch for the variegated yarn so.... I cast on my 6th pair of socks - it's the Snapdragon socks designed by Wendy.

But of course, socks are not the only projects on the needles - I have been knitting up the Christmas presents - dishcloths! I need 15 of them & so far ....

Your socks are perfect! I love Jitterbug and how it knits up, your pattern brings out the color depth so nicely. Your dishcloths are a wonderful idea and yours are a bit fancy, too. Your gifts will be very popular this holiday season.

Embossed leaves is one of my favourite sock patterns - yours are fab, and love the colour of the Jitterbug.

I've been thinking about dishcloths for Christmas too...but I'm not sure I'm going to get there...maybe a couple!

I can't believe how fast your sock knitting has been going! The embossed leaves are gorgeous, especially in that soft, muted color.

Good luck with the dishcloths! Those are so pretty.

Your socks look great. I bought more baby cashmerino to make another pair of rainy day socks, but have cast on for some 'bon-bon socklettes using DB cashmerino aran. Also just got finished a cupcake hat .... guess I need to make a blog post!

Those are beautiful and are on my list for some Claudia Handpainted that I have. You have yarn from THe Knittery? I'm looking for a skein of the Orange Blossom. Can you let me know when you get more in?

Those Embossed Leaves came out beautifully, upside down or not. I have some scrumptious Jitterbug sitting in line to be knit and can't wait to try it. I'm going to give that Toe Up pattern in IK a try. Love the color of your socks, too.
