Pattern : Fitted Singlet from Jo Sharp Knit Issue 2
Yarn : Spotlight's Moda Vera Bamboo/Cotton (5.25 balls)
Needles : Addi 3.75mm circulars
Lynette in the newly cast off Fitted Singlet - it fitted her too well - she said it's tight ! Well, I can't be perfect as she kept reminding me that she doesn't want it loose & so I made sure that I knitted it as fitting as I can. It's hard to please her & I hope the singlet will not be left lying in the wardrobe.
Anyway, I am quite happy with it as the yarn is nice & soft (altho' splitty) & it was an easy knit as I revise the pattern to knit in the round. I also did 6 rows of garter stitch at the bottom of the singlet as I didn't like the way it was rolling up with the stocking stitch. The shaping at the waist makes the singlet fitting & nice. To top it off, this is a quick project as it took me a week despite 2 froggings that I had to do!
Now I can get back to my other projects - my socks which I have neglected for a week. I will finish them off, so that I can cast on 2 pairs for Can Assist. I have gone through my stash & found a bag of Opal Acapulco ......
.... which is a good self pattern yarn & it wears & wash well. I just love these cheery colors & I hope the recipients will like them too !

Cute tank! If you give it a good soak can it maybe block larger?
I like the change up there on the top of your blog. It may have been there a while but I am just now noticing it.
Yes perhaps you can try and block it a bit bigger, then she will wear it more.
I think that is a great tank! And, if nothing else, she could wear it under another shirt...buttondown or cardigan. Love the color!

I hope she does wear it often, it looks really nice on. Hoepfully the blocking comments might help a bit.
Love the sock yarn, what a great thing to knit for.
