.... I know I am late as the Olympics are over but I only found the pattern recently. It does resemble little Olympics medals & I love them but unfortunately I can't keep them as these are sold ..... my 2nd sale & I should be happy but it's so hard to part with this pair of gorgeous socks. This happens all the time - I to keep every pair of socks that I knitted !
Pattern : Olympian Socks
Yarn : Dream In Color Smooshy, Funcky Fuchsia
Needles : 2.5 mm Harmony dpns
The only change that I made to the pattern is to knit the socks from the toe-up (that's the only way that I will knit my socks) & therefore had to re-arrange the stitches to fix the instep & the leg. I plan to write up the notes, so if any of you are interested in knitting this pattern toe-up, please let me know.
In the meantime (while I am trying to decide on the next sock to cast on), I picked up this long forgotton WIP - Yosemite & over the weekend, finished the front & now working on the back - it's coming along very nicely ..... but I may not want the sleeves or should I have them ? Big decision !

Lovely socks!
Ooh - these are all so pretty! I'd love to see notes for toe-up. I totally wanted to do these toe-up but didn't feel that I had the time to learn how to do a toe-up heel flap during the contest.
The colorways for all three of your lovely items pictured here are so beautiful! Fabulous!
Love the colours of everything you have shown in this post, they are just delicious and would look great in my stash!
I would love a copy of the pattern, it looks so nice and comfy. I like the Yosemite with sleeves, that is the version I plan to make after I make about 100other things I have on my list, lol.
Lovely socks, but a shame you have to part with them.
I remembered when you cast on for Yosemite :) it will be nice to have it finished I'm sure. I finally finished a cabled scarf I started months ago, it felt so good to get it off the needles!
Ever since i know how to knit toe-up sock, i NEVER look back !!
Great socks, with nice colour. Cheers.
