I Had To Bring Them Home .....

....... 7 balls of undyed natural cotton & in 4 ply (I know there are 6 in the picture as I had already used 1). I went to Spotlight with my daughters who needed some cross stitching supplies & I ended up bringing these home. I love the feel of cotton & it's perfect for a pring/summer project. I bought the whole lot (7 balls left) & at that time, I didn't have a project in mind. But my mind was working all the time as I drove home & by the time, I got home, I knew what I wanted to knit - a circular vest !
I have missed knitting my Pi shawl & wanted to do another circular project. This vest has been in my mind for a while & I knew the cotton will be perfect for it, so I casted on immediately ......

...... it was like a dream came true - the cotton is lovely to knit with (although a little splitty) & the knitting in the round is so meditative. I wish I could knit forever ..... the lace pattern is coming along very nicely & I have just finished casting off for the armholes & then continuing knitting in the round for the front .....

As I am using a 4 ply (the pattern is for a 10 ply), I had to knit more rounds but I don't mind as I love it. I want to knit a pretty lace border to finish it off ......

In the meantime, I have just finish one of my socks ......

..... love the design & I will be sharing this pattern once I get set up as a designer in Ravelry - wow, this sounds too good to be true - me a designer !

Congratulations on another sock design! Looks lovely! Do you need a test knitter?

Ooh that vest is nice, I've never seen one like that before, I like it in the cream you are doing. Love your sock.
