...... as the weather is cooling down. We had an exceptionally hot summer & the heat dragged on to autumn. It's only starting to cool down now, the last month of autumn, although we are having a sunny day (29C) tomorrow.
I was able to wear my newly finished vest .....
.... it's the Matilde's Vest. I started this vest a month ago but kept putting it down to work on other projects. It's a simple pattern from the bottom up & knitted in the round. A 3 needle bind off for the shoulders & it's done. I love projects like this as there's not much finishing, except for the armholes & neck.
The vest is knitted in Malabrigo sock yarn & it's just so soft & warm. I am so in love with Malabrigo & can't seem to have enough of it. I think I will be ordering more.
I will post more pictures of the vest in action as I have to run now ..... I have a class to teach.

What a pretty pattern! The neckline is perfect and I love the garter stitch edging. I am knitting your Treasure Lace pattern in Malabrigo sock yarn for my sister.
A pretty pattern...I really like the back actually. And knit in malabrigo sock...I bet you never want to take it off!
I have noticed it's getting cooler when I watch the weather on the news each night. I love your vest, and what a great pattern. Did you change it to be in 4ply??? I love it!!!
