Helen & I hosted the WWKIP event on June 14 at the Dome Cafe in Garden City, one of the biggest suburb shopping malls in Perth. The turnout was great ....

..... we had such a great time - knitting, drinking lattes & cappacinos, eating biscuits & pastries - it was a fantastic way to spend a day.
We even had a surprise visitor all the way from Paris in France - Flore is visiting Perth on a holiday & she found the details of our event from the WWKIP site & decided to join us. Flore (on the extreme left) is such a lovely person & shares with us her extensive knowledge on spinning & yarn & she evens own an online store. 
Helen printed some bookmarks with details of our knitting circles & we handed them out to people who stopped & checked what we were all doing. I think we did manage to attract more knitters to our knitting circles.
