Knit Issue 2

I have to share this with all of you - it's fresh out of the press - Jo Sharp's latest magazine Knit Issue 2. It's wonderful - full of summer patterns - I want to knit them all as I love knitting with cotton - from singlets to cardi to hand towels & a tea pot mat (quite like a dishcloth). Check out the patterns in this fabulous book at Knitting Inspirations.

I really fall in love with the tea pot mat & going to cast on NOW.... can't wait as it's knitted in the round... that's why ....
As if I don't have enough knitting to keep me busy - of course not - I just joined 2 groups - Six Sox knitalong - where I have to knit 6 pairs of socks in 12 months - that's should not be too difficult until I saw the latest pattern, Iris Garden Socks - OMG - I just can't describe it - it's gorgeous with all the colors but the thought of changing colors in a sock may a little too much for me now - will have to really put aside some quality time to concentrate on this sock.
The 2nd group that I joined is My First Toe Ups - although I have knitted more than 1 pair of toe up sock, I just have to join this KAL - it's heaven for me where everyone knits socks toe-up - that's the only way that I have been, still am & will be knitting my socks!
This is great & I am so excited & planning all the projects that I will be casting on during the long drive to Monkey Mia - maybe we should be driving to Darwin or somewhere further so that I can knit all the way ......

Oh, thanks for the heads up!! I will look around for it tomorrow. The teapot mat sounds/looks lovely.
SixSox sounds great!! Oh, Toe Up Heaven but in a good way!! You will be so happy!!! Have a great holiday!! Will there be dolphins???? (Oh, about 20 rows to go and all the parts of the CPH are complete: I went out and left a needle at home, I would have finished it otherwise!!!)

I will definitely check out the magazine as I never heard of it (for some reason Jo Sharp is not sold in a lot of LYS).

Oh dear before I knew it, I had pressed the buy button ;) you are a bad influence on me :)

No seriously what a great book, Jo Sharp has really come of age as a designer with this one, there is something for everyone.

Where abouts is the six sock KAL? I could join that one because in Summer it is all I knit.

That tea pot mat is very pretty! I can't wait to see yours, why do I have this urge to knit one now? Some projects are contageous!
